I've been a filmmaker and creative director for over two decades, and my passion is telling stories that bring out the extraordinary in the ordinary. With my professional film services, I cover every stage of production — from development to post-production and delivery. Not only do I offer filmmaking services, but I also provide creative consulting, graphic design, script writing, marketing copy writing, and photography services. Basically, I'm your one-stop-shop for all your creative needs.
My passion for storytelling started long before I found myself living and filming on Misima Island, Papua New Guinea. But it was on this island where I truly realized the power of filmmaking. I was filming one of the main subjects when she questioned me and expressed a deep concern that I was wasting my time following her—an ordinary person—around with an expensive camera and asking her questions about her life. But through my lens, I saw her as anything but ordinary or plain. I realized that my role as a filmmaker is to bring out the unique qualities in my subjects and reveal their extraordinary side. This epiphany solidified my passion for storytelling and the impact it can have.

Bryan’s Bio
Bryan Pitcher is an international award-winning filmmaker, trained by old-Hollywood giants such as Ralf D. Bode (cinematography), Donn Cambern (film editing), and Carolyn Pfeiffer (producing). He graduated at the top of his class from The Los Angeles Film School and was one of two people selected to study screenwriting at Columbia University’s Graduate Film Program for a one-off, two-semester exchange program.
He has worked on notable projects such as editing and associate-producing the feature documentary “Conversations With Nickle” which won Best Feature Documentary award at Sedona Intl. FF, was picked up by HBO, associate-producing Faye Dunaway's short film “The Yellow Bird” which made its world premiere at Cannes, associate-producing and consulting editing for the short film “The Bake Shop Ghost” which won 20 awards for best short and screened at 80 film festivals around the world. He directed and edited Scott Grimes' music video for his top 20 contemporary hit “Sunset Blvd” and is looking forward to completing his first feature documentary, "Misima", as director & producer.
Discovering Truth Through Storytelling: My Why
My name is Bryan Pitcher, and at my boutique film company, I believe that truth is revealed through storytelling. That's why my Greek slogan, “Alētheia Phanai en Muthoi” translated as “Truth is Revealed in Story”, is a nod to the mythical power of film and the transformative potential of visual storytelling.
I strive to bring out the extraordinary in the ordinary and create film/video projects that reveal the truth and beauty of the subject I'm capturing. I am dedicated to telling authentic, powerful stories that set my work apart and drive me to create remarkable media for my clients.
Often people think all they need from a videographer or filmmaker is that he knows how to use professional equipment. However, in my experience, clients are actually looking for someone who understands the craft, not just how to push buttons on an expensive camera. It’s through mastery of the craft that the most powerful stories are expressed. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, I use these expertise combined with a knowledge of story to create truly memorable and impactful results.

Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes at Bryan Pitcher Films, we go the extra mile to ensure each client is given the individual attention they deserve. During a recent film shoot in Rancho Cucamonga, California, our team spent time getting to know each of the seven staff members, diving deep into their personal stories and learning about their unique approach to their work. This allowed us to create 36 short but powerful scripts, brought to life on set through teleprompter readings, capturing the essence of each individual and their dedication to their clients.
